The challenge
A new tieback needed a route across a slope with known faults and seeps. The engineering team wanted the geohazards mapped before committing to a route and a pipe order.

How we flew it
Two K6 flew parallel corridors in deep water, mapping bathymetry, side-scan and sub-bottom data in one pass.

What we found
The survey moved the route 400 m east to avoid an active fault scarp and cut 1.8 km from the planned length.
